自從史匹堡的《侏羅紀公園》劃時代登場後，恐龍題材的電影雖然陸續有來，但真正能讓人眼前一亮的實在屈指可數。當初看到《末世橡樹街》的預告，我的眼球瞬間被抓住，心情雀躍。

這次恐龍不再困於偏遠小島，而是直接把主戰場搬進人來人往的街道，而且故事舞台更特意設定在 1980 年代的郊區小鎮！

雖然《侏羅紀公園 2 – 迷失世界》結尾也曾讓暴龍短暫漫遊於市區，但篇幅始終有限，而這部則把小鎮生存戰貫穿全片。

整體而言，100分鐘的電影給我的感覺只屬略顯平庸 ⸺ 它有讓人亮眼的地方，卻也有不少令人搖頭的吐槽點。

劇本在家庭情感線上的舖排拿捏得宜，成功抓住了真實家庭常見的溝通障礙。在恐龍肆虐的生死危機下，那些日常摩擦化成了互相守護的力量，過程尚算動容。

恐龍的特效與動態張力上，雖然與史匹堡樹立的經典還有一段距離，但整體表現對得起觀眾。恐龍軀體的質感與追逐時的流暢度交足功課，與小鎮場景的融合度也相當高，視覺效果到位。

然而，若從劇本的敘事規範與結構來衡量，這部作品依然遜色。核心問題出於過多的犯駁位與失衡的節奏，充其量只能當作一部爆谷電影。

電影的驚悚壓迫感總是難以為繼，緊張氛圍斷斷續續，各個危機場面的順序幾乎可以任意對調而不影響劇情推進。這種節奏缺陷甚至一路蔓延至尾聲，不僅讓高潮戲的張力大打折扣，更在危機感尚未鋪滿之際戛然而止，讓人意興闌珊。

最讓人翻白眼的，是劇本在細節設計上的極不嚴密，充斥著各種離奇的邏輯漏洞。在生死一瞬、危機肆虐的極限關頭，主角群居然還有閒情逸致做出各種違背常理的慢條斯理行為，完全感受不到逃命的緊迫感；另外，看似嚴密的防衛設定，在劇情需要時又隨手一扯即破，防禦作用形同虛設。種種荒謬的劇情安排，實在看得我無言以對。

演員陣容上，全片唯一亮點莫過於 Anne Hathaway 。從《斷背山》裡野性不羈的妻子、《穿 Prada 的惡魔》中的職場新人、《愛情戀上癮》裡用逞強掩飾極度脆弱的患者，到《情約一天》裡的文青女孩，她的演技無庸置疑。

這次在《末世橡樹街》中飾演護子心切的母親，表現極具感染力；或許現實中已為人母，所以飾演母性的堅韌詮釋得相當有說服力，無疑是全片最穩定的演技支柱。

總括而言，縱使《末世橡樹街》具備不俗的特效質感與真摯的家庭溫情，又有 Anne Hathaway 傾力撐場，卻依然救不了漏洞百出的邏輯與支離破碎的節奏，整體表現確實難以令人滿意。

題外話：

《末世橡樹街》這個片名，讓我不由自主地聯想到一首經典英文老歌《Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree》。
